The KS DB Merge Tools for SQLite application includes several executable files. Some of these files are available as shortcuts in the Windows menu, and at first glance, this variety may cause confusion.
The primary application shortcut is KS DB Merge for SQLite shortcut. KS DB Merge for SQLite (32-bit) can be useful for two cases: 1) if you need to work with 32-bit SQLite extensions, and 2) if you need to run app on Windows 10 ARM which does not support amd64 binaries.
Compatibility mode shortcuts are useful if any debugger/profiler software is installed on your computer that includes the COR_ENABLE_PROFILING system environment variable. The KS DB Merge Tools for SQLite application's protection mechanism will prevent it from running in such an environment. Compatibility mode shortcuts disable the COR_ENABLE_PROFILING variable for the KS DB Merge Tools for SQLite application.
